Business Developer
Psychological services practice is seeking a motivated individual with experience in business development, marketing and/or sales on a part-time basis. This position allows you to work from home or from our White Plains office.
Job responsibilities include:
- Grow and expand our business in Manhattan and Westchester by identifying and reaching new customers, developing referral sources, and developing contracts with new customers.
- Organize and implement client relations including:
Development of corporate and government contracts
Building relationships with referral sources
Keeping referral sources top of mind
Establishing and attending meetings with prospective clients
- Inform our practice of market needs and identify new opportunities for our practice to capitalize on.
- Develop promotional material for use with client development.
- Establish and implement marketing and public relations strategies
- Track referrals, contracts and all incoming business to inform marketing direction
- Develop and administer marketing database which includes client and prospect information, mailing list applications, etc.
Candidate must have the following experience:
- Five years in business development or marketing role within professional services environment
- Strong leadership and consensus building skills; marketing management and strategic planning experience
- Proven track record of success in new business development.
Candidate must have the following skills:
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be highly organized
- Must be able to work well with staff and clients
- Must have polished presentation and interpersonal skills
- Must possess top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
- Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
Desired skills:
- Background in medical/psychological services marketing/business development
- Experience with legal services marketing/business development
- Experience with skilled nursing facilities and/or assisted living facilities.
- Experience with education/schools.
Location: Work from home/White Plains, NY
Compensation: 35K-50K/yr
