Equity Research Analyst

New York based Hedge Fund is looking for an Analyst to write research reports on underfollowed catalyst driven opportunities. This is a work from home position.

- Industrials
- Pharmaceuticals
- Biotech
- Defense

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform due diligence and analyze companies through research and interaction with management
- Writing initial detailed overview research report as well as follow up reports in anticipation/response to material changes in business

Ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- At least 1-3 years of experience writing Wall Street research reports
- Sector specialty
- Mid to top tier firm experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be articulate, intelligent, and self-motivated
- Should have knowledge of capital markets
