Senior Remote Network Engineer

IT support and consult company is in need of a F/T Information Technology Engineer for small business IT maintenance. 1099 position. Environments include Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Microsoft Exchange 2003 & 2007 server as well as .NET servers.

Requirements:

-MCSE, MCSA or MCP Qualified or Cisco certified (CCDA, CCNA, CCDP, CCIP, CCNP, CCSP or CCIE)

-Security certification (CISM, CISSP)

-Exhange based email experience

-Active directory design, server monitoring, security and system infrastructure

-Two-year degree in computer science/technology, or equivalent experience.

-At least seven years of service and desktop administration

-Troubleshooting and diagnoistic experience. 

-Experience supporting Microsolft products and working in various client situations.

-Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting remotely.

-Ability to work in a virtual office setting with follow-through, willingness to use remote access.  Strong verbal & communication skills are necessary.

Location: Work from home, virtual office infrastructure.
