Assistant Tutoring Director
Tutoring company needs a talented Assistant Tutoring Director who will report to the Tutoring Director and work together closely to continue the growth and expansion of Chicago operations. This is a telecommute position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients
- Assisting in recruiting and hiring qualified tutors
- Assigning new clients to qualified tutors
- Keeping track of client accounts and tutors' hours
- Assisting in managing tutors
- Developing and expanding the client base in Chicago and surrounding suburbs
- Networking and market services
Candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Ability to work 20 hours per week to start, with potential for full-time hours in the future
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work in order to meet clients needs
- Excellent project management
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to build and expand client base through marketing initiatives
- Strong sales ability
- Previous experience in a leadership role at a tutoring center/company
- Previous experience in education / education management / for-profit education
- Must be willing to submit to criminal background and driving record checks in order to be eligible for employment
- Minimum BA/BS, MA/MS preferred. Degree in Education preferred.
