Junior Software Developer

A leader in developing engineering and construction software for engineers, architects, and contractors. Currently, we have a couple of software projects running simultaneously.

We require a software developer to work part-time (starting at 10 hours/week but will increase later on) to start new and continue existing software projects. Several of these projects involve website and iPhone development. You will be programming in C# and Objective C. You must have a strong understanding and aptitude for object-oriented languages such as these.

Must be available to work onsite for up to 60% of the time. However, some of your software development can be offsite, thus you must have your own computer and broadband Internet connection. We will provide all the necessary development and version-control tools.

Qualifications:

1. Three to four years of software development experience: either classwork (Computer Science major) or on-the-job.
2. Experience programming with Microsoft C# and/or Objective C or related.
3. Experience with relational database development, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005.
4. Solid understanding and practice of object-oriented software design.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Prefer that you have a car to travel to San Rafael, when needed. However, you can work at home 40% of the time.
