PC Support Technician
Company is seeking a highly motivated PC Support Technician that can work well with no supervision. This is a work from home position.
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of three years desktop or call center support for all of the standard windows based systems, working with end users
- Must be able to demonstrate strong technical skills with all Microsoft Windows OS and application support and networking
- Must have excellent computer problem solving skills including solutions to viruses, slow performance, errors, e-mail client set-up, software installation and configuration, wireless networks, peripheral problems
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must show genuine care about your customer
- Must have at least ONE of the following certifications: A+, MCP, CCNA, MCSE, CCNP, Net+. Candidates without certification will not be considered for this position. College degrees will not be accepted as substitutes for a certification.
Candidates must have the following home office setup:
- Must have high speed Internet access
- Must run a dedicated Windows based computer with XP Pro at a minimum
- Must have a quiet and dedicated office
- Must have a dedicated phone line. No VOIP allowed
Bonus skill:
- Previous technical support experience with Mac OS based systems
Location: Work from home
Compensation: $14.00/hr ($15 if bilingual)
