Psychology Research
Company is seeking an individual to do Psychological Research for an observational case study about addiction. Candidate will call patients treated at a clinic in Playas de Tijuana’s Mexico. They will speak to them over Skype while they are at the clinic for their initial interview and also conduct follow up interviews for 12 months. Candidate will also co-author an academic paper for publication. This is a work from home position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for coordinating with clinics to conduct baseline measures with clients before ibogaine therapy is conducted, exit interviews, and follow up measures on the telephone for one year afterwards
- Maintaining reliable and extremely accurate records
- Work with sponsor to revise protocol and submit to an IRB
- Report study progress to sponsor on a monthly basis (more frequently at key times)
- Collect and analyze data for final report
- Co-author an academic paper for publication
Ideal candidate must have the following:
- Must have PhD or research experience
- Must be goal oriented and independent
- Must have knowledge of basic statistics
- Must show empathy for people who are in a vulnerable state
- Must be able to negotiate difficult feelings while staying on track with administering surveys
- Must have excellent follow through
- Must have good time management skills
- Must have exceptional written and verbal communications
- Must be computer-literate and proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have a computer with high-speed internet and a reliable telephone
- Must be able to prioritize and be productive
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player
Preferred skills:
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience administering ASI (Addiction Severity Index)
- Experience working with addiction and the addicted population
Location: Work from home
Compensation: $750/subject for 10-20 subjects
