Research and Development Associate Editor

Off The Record Research, an international investment research firm serving institutional clients, has an opening for a Research and Development Associate Editor in our Global Media group.

Summary:
The purpose of this position is to help provide background information (R&D) to our media financial research reports on a global scale. The position also entails reporting and managing schedules.

Essential Functions:
* Update project proposals with company and industry fundamentals
* Monitor and distribute to specific group members secondary data outlining changes in Wall Street and/or industry sentiment
* Review and compile company and industry comments into informative and focused summaries for project proposals
* Devise and implement methods for assembling potential sources for research projects

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
* Understanding of financial reporting business practices and stock market basics
* Knowledge/understanding of marketing research methods and approaches
* Able to generate and mathematically manipulate Microsoft Excel worksheets
* Communication skills
* Multi-tasking and the ability to synthesize large amounts of data and information
* Bachelors degree in Business preferred
