Associate Dean of Online Learning
College in Santa Ana, CA, seeking an Associate Dean of Online Learning in General Education. This position will be responsible for instructional content, online delivery, recruiting and training faculty, mentor and manage faculty remotely.
General duties include:
- interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising online instructors
- staff courses and schedule faculty
- appraise instructor performance
- managing course development
- communicating daily with remote instructors
- interacting face-to-face at campus locations to resolve student issues and/or instructor issues.
Requirements include:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university which qualifies candidate to teach multiple courses within General Education program
- experience working with postsecondary faculty in leadership, managerial, or advisory role
- online teaching experience preferred
- computer skills
- excellent ability to communicate by phone and/or email
Location: Santa Ana, CA/Remote
