Possible Home-Based Editor
Publishing company seeks an editor for managing a new web-based publication on IT. The editor will develop editorial strategy, manage writers, aggregate press releases, and produce weekly e-newsletters. Office is in San Diego, CA, but a home-based arrangement may be possible. Some travel may be needed for covering industry events.
Some requirements include:
- journalistic skills - writing, interviewing, editing, researching - strength
- able to consistently meet deadlines
- information technology background with preference for candidate with experience in cloud computing, grid computing, and HPC
- enthusiastic in science and technology
Location: Home-base/San Diego, CA
Compensation: $37K - $45K/year
