Senior Reporter, Email & Mobile - Virtual

Award-winning research and publishing firm on topic of marketing and advertising seeks a Senior Reporter to take over two beats, writing exclusive case studies and interview-based know-how articles. You can be based in a home office anywhere you'd like (as long as you have high-speed Internet access), although you'll be expected to attend at least two advertising trade shows per year at our expense.

Requires 5+ years business journalism experience. You’ll be comfortable at covering business math/metrics, researching cutting-edge tactics/topics and great at surfing and writing for the Web. You aren’t afraid of technology. Your phone interview skills should be exceptional, you never miss deadlines and you are a fast, non-wordy writer.

This is an extremely busy, highly-competitive beat with a razor-tight focus. We are reader-supported and carry no ads. This means editorial quality is our top priority -- no rewritten PR, no fluff, no columnists.

The beats you'd cover are email and mobile marketing. You'd be responsible for two to three exclusive, ~1,300 word articles per week, often based on single-source interviews, plus blogging about said beats.
