Freelance Legal Writers

International law firm is seeking experienced writers to join a pool of freelance researchers and content providers for practice collateral and marketing copy. Qualified writers with law degree and published legal writing experience also needed to assist with research, copy editing, and drafting of editorial material, such as preliminary drafts for articles, alerts, surveys, reports, etc. Projects are one-off and assigned to the most appropriate freelancer. Fees are by hour or project and may depend on freelancer’s qualifications. Projects vary from fewer than 1,000 words with one-day turnaround to research or content development over several weeks or longer. Excellent writing samples required of similar material, which may include:

Law Firm Marketing and Practice Collateral
 Practice descriptions
 Case studies
 Web content
 Brochure content
 Business development, BD analysis and BI research summaries
 Promotional or advertising copy

Legal Research and Writing
 Research, outlines, and first drafts of articles and alerts (access to research resources may be provided or reimbursed)
 Assisting with development of and contributing content for reports, white papers, and other legal analyses
