Work at Home - Internet Store Work
We are looking for someone to work part time, as needed, to enter products in our OS Commerce store at www.Askmags.com/shop.
This would be a great job for a stay-at-home mom.
We are adding lots of products, and that would be your main job. This may or may not also include processing of orders and keeping financial accounting records.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Experience with adding products to OS Commerce stores, and working with the OS Commerce admin panel.
* Good at manipulating and re-sizing .jpg graphics.. We need somehow who can take an image like this one, and convert it to two product images just like the ones found here. You will use a simple reflection javascript that we provide to create the new images, as well as your own graphics program. You will then be responsible for uploading the images via FTP.
* Good at emailing graphics as attachments.
* Excellent at Working Independently and Producing Error-free work.
* Excellent with English spelling and grammar.
* Thorough Attention to Detail.
* Excellent and clear with written communication.
* Type faster than 45 WPM.
* Know basic HTML, enough to do simple formatting and work with tables, and table widths. (Please view our product descriptions
to know the kind of formatting that is needed. If you look closely at the prod. description in the link just mentioned, you will see that the graphic on the right is in a table cell. So you need to be comfortable with working with simple HTML tables, too).
OPTIONAL, BUT PREFERRED:
* Good with math and have some good, error-free, accounting skills
* Good at speaking English over the phone and hopefully are a US resident so that we can talk on the phone freely about the work.
* Excel spreadsheet skills
OTHER DETAILS:
* $10/HOUR 1099 (NO BENEFITS, no employment taxes, no W-2 reporting.)
* Work at home, choose your hours... but would be helpful if you can check your email several times a day to see if an order needs processing.
* Expected need will be from 10 - 20 hours per week. You must be available a minimum of 10 hours a week. You will work at least 20 hours a week the first 2 weeks. We want someone who can quickly respond to our fluctuating need as new products are ready to add, and as orders need processing.
* Need reliable PC and Internet connection
If interested, please send a resume, samples of your graphics and HTML work, and at least 3 job references.
