Virtual Assistant
Assistant to Entrepreneur, Businessman and Best-Selling Author

The Position Specifics:
• You will be responsible for managing handle day-to-day inquiries for Speaking Engagement, Media Interviews and Book Signing request.
• You will maintain and update daily calendar of speaking engagements, events, interviews and appointments.
• You will coordinate travel arrangements for speaking engagements, events and interviews.
• You will liaise with both the staff of the book publisher’s publicity department and the book public relations company on PR strategy.
• You will assist in writing press releases and event promotion copy.
You will weekly monitor and update Media database, Fulfill media requests for photos & press kits, coordinate distribution of news and press releases
The Candidate:
• You will be a natural enthusiast, self-motivated and possess the desire to succeed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• You will have very good planning skills and demonstrate attention to detail.
• You will have strong contacts across all media, corporations and organizations, so you will have to be outgoing, assertive and able to relate to many different types of people with ease and confidence.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks on deadline and with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work effectively and flexibly in a rapidly changing environment.
• Thorough proficiency in MS Word required; Microsoft Excel; contact database management experience also highly desirable.
Note: Part-time hours required until new book release in January 2008. Full-time status thereafter.
(1) Hourly: $10.00 per hour
(2) Plus Twenty Percent (20%) commission for any/all speaking engagements independently secured.
(3) W9 Required (Independent Contractor Status)
