Seamstress

Axon Labs, Inc.,a Newton based start-up, is looking for an experienced seamstress to help us in the construction of new product models. The task consists of piecework stitching, gluing, and assembly of a simple dry electrode system and conductive fabric to an elastic headband; no technical background is required but experience sewing elastic and/or other stretchy materials is necessary. All work is to be completed at home, with pay based upon the number of hours worked to complete a particular order. Order totals and deadlines are subject to change; candidate must be readily available in order to accommodate such a reality. Construction materials and assembly instructions will be provided by Axon Labs, Inc., but candidate must have their own sewing and craft equipment, such as sewing machine, needles, thread, seam-ripper, glue gun, etc.

• Location: Newton, MA
• Compensation: $12-$18/h based upon experience.
