Entry Level Transcription - Corporate/Medical

Central Transcription Services is looking for candidates to fill 2 transcription position openings. Previous transcription experience is preferred, but not required.

Basic requirements for all divisions include:
-High Speed Internet Access

-Dependable computer running Windows 2000 or XP

-Good quality headset.

-Excellent grammar.

-Excellent typing and proof reading skills.

-Ability to turn around a 10 minute audio in 60 minutes or less.

-Available at least 10 hrs weekly. Preference will be given to those available during the day, Monday through Friday.

-An FTP file transfer program installed and working and be able to use it to download audio and upload completed Word document.

-Microsoft Word as a word processing program. Word Perfect or any other word processing program is not acceptable, as our clients do not accept these other formats.

-Foot Pedal (optional, but preferred)

Position starts at $0.30 (corp) or $0.35 (med) per audio minute assigned. i.e. for a 10-minute file, you will be compensated $3.00 (corp) or $3.50 (med) regardless of how long it takes to complete. A review and consideration for pay increase will be made after an initial 60-day period.
