Freelance Graphic/Web/Flash Designer

We're looking for a freelance graphic designer for part-time contract work. This is a 1099 contract position for various on-going projects. We're a web design firm with an expanding work load. The work will mainly be front-end website design, no back-end programming knowledge is required. However, we may have print design work for you from time to time.

The work may include original design, but will mostly involve graphical edits to existing websites or homepage design/layout based on previously decided designs.

Skills needed:

• Photoshop
• Flash (proficiency with vector graphics)
• XML
• ActionScript
• Attention to detail and a good eye for design elements -- consistency, repetition, alignment, proximity, etc.
• A good understanding of intuitive design and usability (user interface/interaction)

• Email us with links to websites that you have completed, or a link to your online portfolio
• A list of skills
• At least one professional reference
• Your phone number
• Your availability (hours per day, time of day, etc.)
