Marketing Administrative Assistant

Make phone calls (including follow-up calls) to businesses and colleges to market our services to them in an attempt to gain their business
• Contact various companies for sponsorship of different programs
• Typing, proofreading, and distribution of correspondence, contracts, advertising and marketing materials, and proposals
• Research and prepare project packages as required
• Maintain databases (Excel)
• Mailings and mail merges
• Follow up with Project Director on completed tasks

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Excellent and clear communication and telephone skills
• Excellent people and organization skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & the Internet
• Excellent typing (50-60 wpm)
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments
• Strong attention to detail
• Self directed, results oriented, takes initiative
• Effective sales and negotiation skills with closing experience
• General marketing and sales knowledge
• Diligent work ethic
• Creative thinking
• A person who can show a record of accomplishment with a can-do attitude

This position allows for telecommuting. It is part-time and temporary.


   
   



  • Compensation: Up to $8.00 an hour; could be slightly more depending on experience.
