Book Editors Needed
We are a small book publishing company seeking experienced editors for freelance projects, ranging from basic copy edits ($.009/word) to comprehensive, content-driven edits ($.03/ word).
We pay editors 2/3 of fees charged to authors.
We are seeking:
*Editors who have experience with the book trade --A MUST
*Individuals with the ability to meet deadlines
*Editors who are comfortable with electronic communication/editing (i.e. Microsoft Word’s track changes, email communication between editor and publisher)
*Editors who are comfortable with a variety of content / a range of projects
Compensation: Payment is based on word count, and is dependent on the package ordered by the author as set forth above.
Please submit a complete resume, including a list of books edited, and areas of editorial interest, for our review.
- Location: Mpls (warehouse dist)
- Compensation: 2/3 of all fees collected, plus additional fees for writing back cover copy.
