Customer Service/Tech Rep

We are looking for a technical/customer support rep for our software company. Must be organized and have a quiet area to work from as this is a telecommuting position. This is a full time position from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a half hour lunch or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour lunch. Starting pay is $18 Hr.

What you NEED to know:

Excel-not expert, but comfortable with basic functions
Windows XP-know how to troubleshoot desktop applications with Windows and
microsoft error messages-our customer use Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP, Vista
Be able to learn new software applications quickly
Ability to train customers to use software
Maintain friendship and calm with all customers
Real estate knowledge a plus!
Basic web design a plus!

We need to fill this position this week. This is not a very "tecky" position. We are more concerned with customer satisfaction, sales and retention of sales. Trouble-shooting skills are paramount, with the ability to figure out problems and not stop until you have found an answer. Complete patience required as some customer don't know the simplest functions.

Keep in mind most of our customers use Windows and this would be a common error on their system when running our desktop application. We know the answer. We are not necessarily looking for the fix, just the process you would use to figure it out. If you know the fix, you will be on the top of our list.

Again, this is a telecommuting position so you need a good, quiet place to work. We supply the computer, phone, phone lines, Vonage setup, broadband and modem. Please mention references in your resume.
