freelance editor needed

Editorial/Rewrite Job needed for manuscript under contract to a major publishing company. The manuscript is in fairly rough shape; your job would be to take the first pass at making it a book, including reorganizing, rewriting, and suggesting queries to take to the author.

Perfect for a freelance writer/editor or a seasoned editorial assistant. Confidentiality required. Animal lovers/James Herriot fans a plus.
