Automotive Technical Editor
Edit and create automotive diagnostic and mechanical service information for CHILTON.
This is a full-time, contract freelance position, allowing work from home, with pay commensurate with experience.
Ideal candidates will possess five or more years of recent automotive technician experience with ASE certifications or equivalent knowledge preferred. You should understand diagnostics for engine performance systems, anti-lock brake systems and climate controls, as well as standard mechanical components.
Excellent English writing and editing skills are required, along with proficient PC skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel and databases. Possess a current PC with DVD player & Internet broadband connection. Attention to detail is paramount.
