Finding Good Work at Home Jobs Online

There are many legitimate work at home jobs online, but you have to be careful when doing your research since there are so many scams among the lot. Finding good work at home jobs online requires an evaluation of your skills and talents. When you have decided what you are good at, then you can begin your search.

There are many websites that offer a list of work at home jobs. Some of them charge a small monthly fee to get into their database of job listings. Some of them are free. I would start with the free ones first. However, in most cases, the free ones are packed with work at home scams that you have to sift through.

Some of the free websites are craigslist jobs and gigs, yahoo jobs, Monster.com, CareerBuilder, WorldWideWorkatHome, Chasingthemuse.com, RatRaceRebellion, GenuineJobs.com and of course, virtualvocations.com. Craigslist is very popular, but is a cesspool for scammers who try to dress up their ads to look like the ones that are legitimate. You have to know how to smell the rat before you catch him.

Anyway, when you go to craigslist, don’t look into the small biz category. Try to choose the category that you have the most skills. For example, you can start by looking at categories like writing, marketing, customer service, computer programming, etc. Look for jobs in the particular State that you live in. Finding a local job is easier to detect whether it is a scam or not. Genuinejobs.com and virtualvocations.com save you the trouble from searching at craigslist. They do the searching for you and may charge you a small monthly fee. If you are on some kind of time constraints or just not a good researcher, these services are recommended.

If you are having trouble finding work at home jobs, these are the best places to begin your search. Virtual Vocations and a few other websites provide resume enhancement services to help you to spruce up your resume and post your profile so that you can become more visible to employers who come to these websites looking for virtual assistants.

Visit different work at home message boards and participate in the post. You will also find out that these work at home message boards and forums are jam packed with work at home job leads that you can pursue yourself. Happy hunting.
