Home-Based Business Growth
You have an entrepreneurial spirit, you are tired of listening to your boss shout insults or orders at you and you are just sick of the grinding commute. What do you do? You are ready to quit and have a plan of action in place to make the transition. Let's just say that you started moonlighting or working part time from home and now it is time to make the dreaded full time move because of fear.
Let's go beyond that and now you are sitting behind your home office desk and working at your dream job at home. How long did it take you to get to this point? Do you see that it wasn't as hard as you think? It really isn't.
By now, you have probably realized that your growth potential and success is dependent on the actions and decisions that you take and make.
You probably had to physically do everything on your own from the beginning. You were the secretary, customer service and employee all in one. However, now you should be at the point where you are outsourcing some of your work to other individuals who can get the job done to your specification.
I am sure in the initial stages you made a lot of trail and errors; some of which were spending too much money on marketing and learning how to economize quickly because of limited operating expenses. What made you grow into such a great business seeing how you were struggling in the beginning? If the truth were told you wanted to quit many times, but because of belief in yourself, confidence that you can make it and pride in what you stood for, you refused to quit.
You decided to leverage your time and money to get where you are today and this is what gave you the growth potential that you are now experiencing. You used your credit card to purchase office supplies and office equipment. You allowed your children and other kids in the neighborhood to hand out flyers for you to tell your neighbors about your service. You had them stuff envelopes for you to mail out to potential clients.
You used all the inexpensive resources that you could find and now it is paying off for you. You are now experiencing growth in your business because of the wisdom to keep things into perspective and to utilize all the resources you had available to you.
Keeping your personal expenses separate from your business expenses was also a key in your growth and success. Finding cost effective ways to save on office supplies like using coupons and recycling paper were easy for you. Putting back some of the profit into the business also helped in your home-based business growth.
