Check new jobs
Multiple Clients
The amount of time required for a work at home (WAH) position varies depending on the assignment. There are 40-hour a week WAH positions. If you find one, you can consider yourself extremely lucky. However, many WAH jobs are part-time positions. As we all know, when we do not work, we are not paid. This is why it is important to have multiple clients. Multiple clients mean multiple projects. It may sound scary, as you do not want to accept more work than you can complete in a given week. This is a big decision and requires some change in culture. For the most part, our parents and grandparents worked for one employer at a time. There was the occasional side job for extra money or to help someone out. As a WAH employee, we have to ensure our success by working for multiple employers. You have three clients. The first client requires 20 hours a week that you must complete between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Another client requires 10 hours a week and you can complete these hours at your own pace. The last client wants you available for 10 hours a week at a variety of times. You may get an assignment that requires you to complete the entire 10 hours at one time or allows you to spread the time over the week. As you can see, this type of workload requires a great deal of discipline and organization. You must allot time for each project to ensure you meet all required timelines and produce a quality product. By completing your assignments according to standard, you increase you chance to repeat work and receive a great recommendation.
