Consider Working at Home
One day, I was given the news that I was losing my job. I found myself digging out those job search websites again. As I began my search, I wanted a change. However, what type of change? Did I want security? Yes, but there is not a job that is 100% secure. Did I want to change careers? No, I have a great deal of experience in my current profession. I found myself lost. As I searched for my answer, I came across a website that focused on virtual vocations. Virtual? Do you mean work at home (WAH)? The site had list after list of WAH jobs and I thought, “I could do this job…and this job…oh…and that one too.” The next thing I knew I was applying to every WAH job that I found on this site. I did not get answers to my applications right away and this began to discourage me. As I was scanning the site, I came across a forum. I hit the jackpot. The forum gave me even more information on where to find a WAH job. It also helped keep my spirits up and provided advice on all things related to working from home. It took me a month to get my first WAH job. Now, I have three of them. If it had not been for the forum, I would have given up on my search when I did not get the responses I was expecting. These people provided me the encouragement that I needed to succeed. For all those people seeking a change in your professional life, consider a WAH jobs and find that perfect virtual vocation site to give you the inspiration you need to achieve your goal.
