After the success of our 2015 Year-End Telecommuting Report<\/a><\/span>, we decided it’s time to check in on telecommuting trends and statistics for the year so far. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Over the last 20 years, telecommuting opportunities have grown three-fold<\/a>. With greater opportunities to work remotely comes the need for greater understanding of the telecommuting work model and its relation to job seekers, employers, and the job market as a whole.<\/p>\n

To meet this need, we turned to our own company data as well as to the latest in\u00a0Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)<\/a>\u00a0jobs forecasting\u00a0to create a ‘Top 10’ mid-year report for\u00a0the first half of 2016. Our report surveys\u00a0telecommuting trends by state, career industry, job type, and employer.<\/p>\n
