Job Summary

A company is looking for an Absence Manager (Leave) to manage employee absence cases and ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine customer eligibility for various leave types and manage absence requests
  • Communicate with customers and clients to gather information and provide updates on absence status
  • Facilitate return-to-work plans in collaboration with clients and vocational rehabilitation counselors

Required Qualifications and Education
  • Minimum one year of professional experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Outlook applications required
  • Prior experience administering FMLA and/or State Paid Leaves is a plus
  • Strong understanding of legal liability, insurance coverage, and medical terminology is beneficial
