Job Summary
A company is looking for an Accessibility Developer to ensure digital experiences meet accessibility standards through testing and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated accessibility audits and document issues with remediation recommendations
- Collaborate with designers and developers to address accessibility issues, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA
- Guide teams on accessibility best practices and maintain detailed records of findings and compliance reports
Qualifications
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and experience with Drupal and accessibility tools
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, and VPAT creation
- Ability to address complex accessibility challenges collaboratively
- US-based, able to pass a background check, including fingerprinting and obtaining DOI clearance with a PIV card
