Job Summary
A company is looking for an Accountant II responsible for maintaining accounting records and supporting financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares journal entries and reconciles balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP
- Supports month-end close processes and external audits while identifying process improvements
- Administers critical accounting processes and assists in the development of accounting procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field
- Two or more years of relevant professional work experience
- Insurance industry and/or public accounting experience preferred
- CPA License preferred
- Exposure to ERP/Finance systems such as Applied EPIC, Kofax, or Oracle is a plus
