Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an RCM Accounts Receivable Representative II to collect on outstanding accounts from patients and third-party payers.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and audit patient accounts for payments or adjustments
• Follow up with insurance companies on outstanding claims and appeals
• Handle incoming patient and insurance company calls

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required
• 1 - 2 years of accounts receivable collection experience in healthcare required
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
• Anesthesia accounts receivable collection experience is strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of CPT/ASA and ICD-10
