Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist 2 with HB experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare services
• Conduct research on unpaid or denied claims and secure payments from payers
• Prepare claims for clinical audit processing and write appeal letters for technical appeals

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow-up
• Experience identifying billing errors and resubmitting claims
• Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and third-party payer billing procedures
• At least two years of experience with accounts receivable software
