Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for resolving claim payment issues and ensuring timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with payers to resolve claim payment issues and secure reimbursement
• Examine denied claims to identify discrepancies and file appeals as necessary
• Document all activities accurately in the client's tracking system

Required Qualifications and Education

• 2 or 4-year college degree preferred
• 1 or more years of relevant experience in medical collections or revenue cycle
• Knowledge of claims review and analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance claim terminology
