Agent Identity Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on securing non-human and agentic identities in AI-driven environments, the remote contract Agent Identity Engineer will design and implement identity controls, develop security models, and partner with IAM teams to manage access and permissions effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement controls for non-human and agentic identities
• Develop and execute preventative and detective controls for unmanaged or risky identities
• Define access boundaries and security models for AI agents and automated workflows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud experience in securing Cloud Compute Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS Applications
• Strong IAM engineering background with hands-on experience with non-human identities
• Deep expertise in AWS IAM and cloud-native identity controls
• Familiarity with RBAC, ABAC, SCPs, and identity governance frameworks
• Experience implementing controls programmatically with a hands-on engineering mindset
