Agricultural GHG Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Agricultural GHG Scientist to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement science-based evaluations for GHG reductions in agricultural systems
• Review and evaluate biogeochemical model inputs and outputs
• Support methodology and standards development for GHG accounting and co-benefit quantification

Required Qualifications & Education:

• MS degree or higher or equivalent work experience
• 4 or more years of experience in soil science or agricultural modeling
• Demonstrated technical understanding of soil and water dynamics in agricultural landscapes
• In-depth understanding of GHG accounting and quantification methods
• Familiarity with federal and state agricultural databases
