Job Summary
A company is looking for an Appeal Writer to support the review of denied insurance claims on behalf of client hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Review denied insurance claims and patients' medical files
- Develop strategies to reverse claim denials and create written appeals
- Manage and organize appeal workflow based on various deadlines
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree or work equivalency required
- Ability to prioritize workload based on strict deadlines
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software
- High level of reading comprehension and ability to analyze medical information
- Medical or biology background is a plus, but not required
