Appeals Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Analyst to monitor contractual allowances and pursue appeal opportunities with payers and networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement processes for identifying under-allowed claims and review EOBs
• Compile and submit appeals while monitoring for proper reimbursement
• Track errors and provide feedback to the Appeals Manager

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with managed care claims and appeals
• 1+ year of experience with a healthcare contract manager application
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare professional services billing and reimbursement
• Knowledge of practice management systems and EOB imaging systems
• Familiarity with managed care contracts and compliance
