Job Summary
A company is looking for an Appeals Clerk to provide administrative support for the Eligibility Appeals Operations Support (EAOS) Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze appeals data and ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
- Issue informal resolutions based on appeal case reviews and contact appellants for clarification
- Schedule hearings for appellants and manage related administrative tasks
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- At least two (2) years of related experience required, preferably in healthcare or appeals
- Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, or Access
- Ability to type 35 words per minute accurately
- Must reside in the Continental US and meet home office requirements
