Job Summary
A company is looking for an Apprentice Penetration Tester to join their team for a 6-month full-time program.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with application and network penetration tests following established methodologies
- Engage in training sessions, workshops, and certifications to enhance offensive security knowledge
- Participate in various day-to-day tasks or projects as assigned by management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- IT/Security experience preferred, with a focus on offensive cybersecurity or hands-on infrastructure experience
- Entry-level understanding of security fundamentals and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten)
- Familiarity with security tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, and Metasploit
- Basic competency in networking and scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
