Assay Development Program Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assay Development Program Manager to streamline assay development efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and optimize assay development processes within R&D teams
• Integrate with other program and project management functions across the organization
• Collaborate with technical teams to build and scale genetic tests while providing program updates to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• BS in genetics, genomics, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of project and/or program management experience in R&D or related fields
• Experience in Next-Generation Sequencing assay development in genetic testing
• Experience developing diagnostic assays in a regulated environment (CLIA/CAP/NYSDOH or FDA)
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Agile/Scrum, Jira, and Confluence
