Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and manage the monthly close process
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in annual audits
- Evaluate and optimize accounting systems and workflows for scalability
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- BA/BS in Accounting required; CPA preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in the DTC/e-commerce industry or with physical product/inventory
