Associate General Counsel - MN

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review various types of contracts, policies, playbooks, letters, and other documents related to health care services
• Provide legal advice on applicable laws and regulations, perform legal research, and review external communications
• Collaborate with clinicians, business leaders, and partners, assess legal risks, and work on process-improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of progressive legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Working understanding of health care laws including False Claims Act, anti-kickback laws, HIPAA, and more
• Proven ability to issue spot, multi-task, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate and work independently efficiently and effectively
