Associate Security Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting cybersecurity governance and compliance initiatives, the full-time Associate Security Analyst will assist with security assessments, develop training programs, and monitor security controls in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with NIST 800-171 readiness initiatives, including security assessments and compliance gap analysis
- Develop and maintain security awareness training programs and enhance security policies and documentation
- Monitor security controls, perform risk assessments, and support continuous improvements in cybersecurity posture
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of NIST, HIPAA, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives
- Familiarity with security technologies such as encryption, firewalls, and SIEM platforms
