Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supervisor, Authorization to oversee the prior authorization request process and manage the authorization team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the authorization team's compliance with policies, procedures, and performance standards
• Monitor authorization requests inventory and allocate resources effectively
• Evaluate team performance and provide coaching to meet productivity goals and improve documentation accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years of related experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance is preferred
• Experience in onboarding, hiring, and training team members
• Ability to identify opportunities for process and quality improvements
