Azure Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To lead complex cloud initiatives and optimize cloud infrastructure, the full-time Azure Cloud Engineer will serve as the senior technical authority for Azure architecture while mentoring teams and managing projects in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage a secure Azure cloud environment, including governance and compliance standards
- Lead cloud infrastructure projects from design to delivery, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices
- Mentor Systems Administration and Information Security teams, fostering cloud competency through knowledge transfer and coaching
Required qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or cloud engineering, with 5 years at a senior or principal level in Microsoft Azure
- Expert-level knowledge of Azure networking and security services, including governance frameworks and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Proven experience leading cloud migration projects and establishing cloud engineering practices
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- AZ-104, AZ-700, and AZ-305 certifications required; AZ-400 preferred
