Job Summary
A company is looking for a full-time Integrated Primary Care Behavioral Health Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric and chronic medical conditions through brief assessments and interventions
- Provide education and consultation to health coaches and clinicians on behavioral interventions
- Facilitate group-based visits and oversee referrals to specialty mental health services
Required Qualifications and Education
- Currently licensed to practice independently in Colorado and/or Texas (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC accepted)
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field
- Previous experience in an integrated care setting is highly desired
- Excellent knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments
- Highly skilled in evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
