Job Summary
A company is looking for a Benefits Account Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to clients in navigating employee benefits and insurance plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop tailored insurance carrier renewal strategies and analyze renewal spreadsheets
- Conduct educational sessions, benefit surveys, and assist clients with claims issues
- Maintain accurate client records and process employee enrollments and changes
Required Qualifications and Education
- Active Virginia Life & Health insurance license
- 2 or more years of experience in customer support or account management within the Employee Benefits Insurance industry
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Understanding of employee benefits programs and compliance with relevant regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and products
