Job Summary

A company is looking for a Benefits Account Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to clients in navigating employee benefits and insurance plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop tailored insurance carrier renewal strategies and analyze renewal spreadsheets
  • Conduct educational sessions, benefit surveys, and assist clients with claims issues
  • Maintain accurate client records and process employee enrollments and changes

Required Qualifications and Education
  • Active Virginia Life & Health insurance license
  • 2 or more years of experience in customer support or account management within the Employee Benefits Insurance industry
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • Understanding of employee benefits programs and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and products
