Benefits Verification Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Benefits Verification Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance coverage for new and existing patients
• Process patient prescription orders in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience in medical insurance, benefits verification, medical billing, or patient/healthcare customer service
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Healthcare related field preferred
• Pharmacy experience (PBM, Specialty, etc)
• Previous experience working with Prior Authorizations
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party vendors
