Job Summary
A company is looking for a Benefits Verification Specialist to verify patient-specific benefits for client programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Review patient insurance information for benefit verification
- Verify patient benefits and document specifics for various payer plans
- Identify restrictions and expedite patient access as needed
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, medical billing, or benefits verification
- Prior medical and/or pharmacy benefits verification experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
