Billing Support Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Support Representative I to assist with billing inquiries from patients, clients, and payors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate estimated out-of-pocket costs and assist patients with billing-related issues
• Document patient interactions and manage billing inquiries through a ticketing system
• Ensure timely follow-up with patients and review outgoing statements for accuracy

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, insurance plans, and ICD 10 codes
• 1+ years of experience in customer service or a similar role
• Understanding of basic billing and claims processing
• Ability to handle confidential HIPAA information
